iGoWrite is a software service of Academy & School Resources LLC (A&SR), based in Pomona, CA.
The mission of A&SR is to provide technology-based products and services to Local Educational Agencies (LEA), their affiliates, and members of the greater educational community (i.e., students, parents, and adults). A&SR products and services promote the acquisition of college and career readiness, 21st Century skills, and knowledge. A&SR works directly with LEA’s, affiliates, companies, and consultants in providing products and services to clients and customers.
Patrick Leier, CEO
Patrick is a highly successful educator with experience at all levels of the k-12 education spectrum. He served as Superintendent for Pomona and Lynwood USD for a combined 13 years, as well as Chief Business Official at Pomona USD for five years. In addition, Mr. Leier has provided Educational and Business Services consulting services for many districts in California, including Sacramento USD, Whittier Elementary, Hollister, and NuView Union. Mr. Leier served as a member of the Commission on Technology in Education, charged with developing the Technology Master Plan for Education for the State of California. He has been honored by receiving the Distinguished Alumnus award from Cal Poly Pomona, and was named the Association of California Administrator, Superintendent of the Year, Region XV.
Gary W. Montz, Director
Graduate of University of LaVerne and Oregon State University, Gary has enjoyed a successful career in education with over 40 years experience. He has served as a secondary science teacher and was elected as ” teacher of the year “ by his peers for his outstanding contributions to the students of Pomona Unified School District. Gary served as the District Administrator for Alternative Ed for many years and in that capacity, grew the program to serve in excess of 1000 students across 10 secondary schools. Mr. Montz represented the district to: California Consortium for Independent Study, California Association for Gifted, Planetary Society, Audubon Society and National Science Teachers Association. Gary holds life teacher credentials at all levels as well as a life Administrative credential.
Patti Formica, Director
With over 30 years experience in all facets of education, classroom, support services, site administration, community college, university, professional development, coaching, and personnel service. Mrs. Formica earned her B. S. and M. S from the University of LaVerne and holds Administrative and Teaching credentials.
Rebecca Hedrick, Director
With over 30 years experience in education. She has served very successfully at all levels of k-12 education, from classroom teacher, to assistant principal to principal, to the district office as Administrative Director of Elementary Education, overseeing 29 schools. In addition Rebecca has Adjunct Professor at National University. Mrs. Hedrick received her B.A. from California State University at Fullerton and her M.A. from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona
Joseph Jaramillo, Tech Support
Joseph is a self-employed technology consultant and has worked in K-12 education since 1999. Previously, Joseph worked as a webmaster for Chino Valley USD and Lake Elsinore USD, and as a technology specialist for Pomona USD. Back in 2000, he was Director of Research & Evaluation for MeshWorX, a technology start-up focusing on thin client technology for K-12 education. Joseph received a BA in Sociology from Pomona College and a MA in Sociology from Baylor University.
Jessica Lingenfelter, Support
Jessica has been a professional educator since 1997. She has taught at the high school land university levels. Her recent experience has encompassed “on-line” teaching and learning delivery systems. Jessica is currently pursing her PhD at Claremont Graduate University. She received her M.Ed at University of La Verne and her B.A. from the University of Arizona.
